Baked Stuffed Chicken…Perfect for the Beginner Chef
Here’s a recipe that is perfect for the holiday season. It’s so easy to make and it’s perfect for the beginner chef.
INGREDIENTS
- 6-7 lb. whole chicken
- 1 cup melted butter
- 1 cup stuffing (Pepperidge Farm is good.)
- 1 cup uncooked popcorn (Orville Redenbachers Low Fat)
- Salt/pepper to taste
DIRECTIONS
- Preheat oven to 350 degrees.
- Brush chicken well with melted butter.
- Salt and pepper to taste.
- Fill cavity with stuffing and popcorn.
- Place chicken in baking pan with the neck end toward the back of the oven.
- Listen for the popping sounds.
- When the force of the chicken’s rear end blows the oven door open…it’s done!
